1. General Conditions
- GFF membership is issued to individuals, and each member holds a single GFF account.
- GFF membership is open to Indonesian citizens and / or foreign nationalities age 2 (two) and above, domiciled in Indonesia, or outside Indonesia where the GFF program is applicable, according to the conditions of enrollment.
- Garuda Indonesia reserves the sole right to interpret and apply the policies and procedures outlined in this Membership Guide. GFF members are bound by Garuda Indonesia regulations as set forth in this Membership Guide.
- Facilities received by GFF members are non-tradable and nontransferable.
- Garuda Indonesia reserves the right to use personal information and data provided by GFF members to Garuda Indonesia for its own operational and marketing purposes, as well as in the interest of cooperation with Garuda Indonesia partners.
- The GFF Membership Card can only be used by the person whose name appears on the card, for purposes related to his/her GFF membership.
- A person is entitled to a single GFF membership number only. If there is more than one GFF membership number to a persons name, only one number will be accepted as valid. The Mileage recorded in all the other cards will be merged to the valid card.
- All GFF privileges and benefits, including extra baggage allowance, access to executive airport lounge, and executive check-in counters, are valid only for Garuda Indonesia flights, and can be obtained by presenting a valid GFF Membership Card and Garuda Indonesia ticket to the Garuda Indonesia staff in charge prior to using the facilities.
- All GFF privileges and benefits are not applicable to Citilink flights, charter flights, Government-organized Hajj flights, code share flights where Garuda Indonesia is not the Operating Party, or flights by other airlines.
- All provisions contained in this Membership Guide are subject to and are to be interpreted in accordance with prevailing laws in Indonesia.
- In the event of any discrepancy between the GFF provisions in the Indonesian and English versions, the Indonesian language text shall prevail.
- In the event of any discrepancy between the GFF provisions in the English and any other foreign language versions, the English language text shall prevail.
- In the event that any provision in this Membership Guide is found to be in conflict with the prevailing laws, this will not affect the validity of the other provisions in this Membership Guide that are not in conflict with prevailing laws.
- GFF Center reserves the right to perform an audit on GFF member data at any time without consent of the member. In the event of data discrepancy, the process for Award Ticket and Upgrade Award will be suspended pending a resolution by GFF Center.
- Garuda Indonesia has the authority to act in accordance with prevailing laws against any violation of GFF membership rules and regulations.
- Garuda Indonesia is not responsible for any risk arising from the misuse of GFF membership including but not limited to the misuse of GFF Membership Card, GFF member privileges and benefits, and / or GFF member mileage data.
- Every decision made by Garuda Indonesia related to GFF membership is final and non-disputable. 18. Marketing programs or any other programs conducted by GFF Center are applicable only to GFF members as specified in the respective programs.
- Garuda Indonesia is not responsible for any products or services that are provided or offered by Garuda Indonesia partners in the GFF program.

2. Enrollment
- GFF membership is issued to individuals, and each member holds a single GFF account. Applicants may enroll through GFF website (http://gff.garuda-indonesia.com) or by completing an Application Form. Upon registration, GFF applicants will receive a Temporary Membership Number that can be used to earn miles. The temporary Membership Number cannot be used to obtain other GFF facilities.
- Mileage from flight activities of members who register through GFF website will be credited to members account after the first eligible flight activity data is recorded on the GFF database.
- Mileage from flight activities of members who register by completing an Application Form will be credited to members account after the first eligible flight activity data is recorded on the GFF database and the membership application have been processed by GFF Center.
- Permanent membership status will be processed after membership application data and the first eligible flight activity data have been recorded on the GFF database.
- Members name as written at the time of registration will appear on the GFF Membership Card and the GFF database. The name should be identical to the name on members ID (KTP, Passport or other ID).
- Garuda Indonesia reserves the right to refuse a membership application that is either incomplete or does not comply with the established requirements without notification.
- Membership application data with a Temporary Membership Number will be removed from the GFF database without notification in the event there is no eligible flight activity recorded within 1 (one) year after the Temporary Membership Number is recorded in the GFF database.

3. GFF Membership Information
- Each GFF member will be given a User ID and Password giving access to membership information through the GFF website at http://gff.garuda-indonesia.com.
- GFF members will receive a quarterly (three-month) Mileage Statement report. In the event there is no flight activities or non-flight activities recorded on members account during the three-month period, no Mileage Statement report will be sent.
- GFF members can obtain information regarding his/her membership by contacting Garuda Indonesia Call Center or GFF Center.

4. Membership Tier & Evaluation
- GFF member tier status depends on the Tier Miles accrued or number of one-way flights (sectors) taken on eligible flight activities within the last GFF membership year.
- Garuda Indonesia has the right to upgrade, maintain or downgrade a GFF member tier status at its sole discretion in accordance with prevailing rules and regulations. Only Tier Miles or flight frequency accumulated in each respective membership year are considered in evaluating a membership tier status and are not carried forward to the next membership year.
- A temporary membership status will be upgraded to a Blue status at any time after taking 1 (one) one-way flight on eligible flights and the membership application data have been recorded on the GFF database.
- A Blue membership status may be upgraded to a Silver status at anytime during the membership year on the accumulation of 5,000 (five thousand) Tier Miles or 10 (ten) one-way flights on eligible flights.
- A Silver membership status may be upgraded to Gold status at anytime during the membership year on the accumulation of 20,000 (twenty thousand) Tier Miles or 35 (thirty five) one-way flights on eligible flights.
- A Gold membership status may be upgraded to Platinum status at anytime during the membership year on the accumulation of 50,000 (fifty thousand) Tier Miles or 75 (seventy five) one-way flights on eligible flights.
- The upgraded status will be valid throughout the membership period, that is the remaining period of current GFF membership year and the next membership year.
- The evaluation for maintaining current membership status, or downgrading to a lower status, or membership termination, is carried out at the end of each membership period, and involves:
a. Renewal of Blue status, or terminating the membership. b. Renewal of Silver status, or downgrading to Blue status, or terminating the membership. c. Renewal of Gold status, or downgrading to Silver or Blue status, or terminating the membership. d. Renewal of Platinum status, or downgrading to Gold or Silver or Blue status, or terminating the membership. - Criteria for evaluation as in Art. 4.8:
GFF Blue Status Renewal : A GFF Blue member who has accumulated at least 1 (one) one-way flight of eligible flights within the membership year will re-qualify as a Blue member.
Termination : GFF membership will be terminated if a GFF Blue member did not make at least 1 (one) one-way flight of eligible flight within the membership year. GFF Silver Status Renewal : A GFF Silver member who has accumulated at least 5,000 (five thousand) Tier Miles or 10 (ten) one-way flights of eligible flight within the membership year will re-qualify as a Silver member.
Downgrade to Blue status : A GFF Silver member who has not achieved 5,000 (five thousand) Tier Miles or 10 (ten) one-way flights, but has made at least 1 (one) one-way flight of eligible flight within the membership year, will be downgraded to a Blue status.
Termination : GFF membership will be terminated if a GFF Silver member did not make at least 1 (one) one-way flight of eligible flight within the membership year. GFF Gold Status Renewal : A GFF Gold member who has accumulated at least 20,000 (twenty thousand) Tier Miles or 35 (thirty five) one-way flights of eligible flight within the membership year will requalify as a Gold member.
Downgrade to Silver status : A GFF Gold member who has not achieved 20,000 (twenty thousand) Tier Miles or 35 (thirty five) one-way flights of eligible flight, but has achieved more than 5,000 (five thousand) Tier Miles or 10 (ten) one-way flights of eligible flight within the membership year, will be downgraded to a Silver status.
Downgrade to Blue status : A GFF Gold member who has not achieved 5,000 (five thousand) Tier Miles or 10 (ten) one-way flights of eligible flight, but has made at least 1 (one) one-way flight of eligible flight within the membership year, will be downgraded to a Blue status.
Termination : GFF membership will be terminated if a GFF Gold member did not make at least 1 (one) one-way flight of eligible flight within the membership year. GFF Platinum Status Renewal : A GFF Platinum member who has accumulated at least 50,000 (fifty thousand) Tier Miles or 75 (seventy five) oneway flights of eligible flight within the membership year will re-qualify as a Platinum member.
Downgrade to Gold status : A GFF Platinum member who has not achieved 50,000 (fifty thousand) Tier Miles or 75 (seventy five) one-way flights of eligible flight, but has achieved at least 20,000 (twenty thousand) Tier Miles or 35 (thirty five) one-way flights of eligible flight within the membership year, will be downgraded to a Gold status.
Downgrade to Silver status : A GFF Platinum member who has not achieved 20,000 (twenty thousand) Tier Miles or 35 (thirty five) one-way flights of eligible flight, but has achieved at least 5,000 (five thousand) Tier Miles or 10 (ten) one-way flights of eligible flight within the membership year, will be downgraded to a Silver status.
Downgrade to Blue status : A GFF Platinum member who has not achieved 5,000 (five thousand) Tier Miles or 10 (ten) one-way flights of eligible flight, but has made at least 1 (one) one-way flight of eligible flight within the membership year, will be downgraded to a Blue status.
Termination : GFF membership will be terminated if a GFF Platinum member did not make at least 1 (one) one-way flight of eligible flight within the membership year.

5. GFF Membership Termination
- GFF membership termination is based on the evaluation of membership status at the end of membership year as described in Art. 4.8 and Art. 4.9.
- A GFF membership may also be terminated at anytime and without notification in the following conditions:
a. Incorrect data at registration b. Misuse in mileage accrual and redemption c. Acting in violation of GFF rules and other regulations related to a GFF membership. d. Involved in acts that damage the reputation of Garuda Indonesia or the public trust towards Garuda Indonesia. e. Misuse of the Temporary GFF Number or permanent GFF Membership Card. f. GFF member relocated to a correspondence address in a country/area where GFF program is not applicable. g. Resignation of member through a letter of resignation. - Any unused Award miles in the account of GFF member whose membership is terminated as referred to this Term & Condition will be nullified and are not redeemable. Mileage is only valid during an active membership period.
- The mileage account, any award that has been granted, claim application, and application for other GFF programs by a GFF member whose membership is terminated as in Art. 5.2 shall be cancelled.

6. Earning Miles from Flight Activities
- In order to earn and accumulate mileage, a person should be registered as a GFF member.
- Mileage may only be credited once for each activity, and earned in one frequent flyer program only.
- Mileage accrual will be based on a mechanism established by Garuda Indonesia.
- Mileage will be accumulated based on flight activities of eligible flight and non-flight activities with Garuda Indonesia partners on the GFF program.
- Mileage is earned based on booking class or fare type as indicated on the ticket. Mileage is not earned on certain conditions including but not limited to, upgrades to a higher booking class due to flight operational considerations, and / or in the event of a discrepancy between the booking class as appear on the ticket and on the boarding pass.
- Mileage may only be earned on eligible flight, that is, Garuda Indonesia flights on tickets with booking class C/D/I/Y/S/W/M/L/Q/B/N/K or other classes as will be determined later by Garuda Indonesia, and do not include tickets with booking class V, H, X, O, T, J, Z, sponsorship tickets, employee tickets, discount tickets by airlines and travel agents, free tickets, reward tickets, discount flights, Citilink flights, charter flights, Hajj flights except ONH Plus flights, code share flights where Garuda Indonesia is not the Operating Party, and certain other booking class and / or flight as will be determined later by Garuda Indonesia.
- Mileage from a certain activity will be credited to the account of GFF member as user of products or services provided by Garuda Indonesia and Garuda Indonesia partners in the GFF program, based on the GFF membership number along with the ticket that has been used. 8. Mileage will not be granted if the purchased ticket or service is not used in Garuda Indonesia flights or has expired.
- In certain cases where GFF members are transferred by Garuda Indonesia to other airlines which has available seat, mileage will still be granted, except for unforeseeable cancellation due to situations that are beyond the control of Garuda Indonesia (Force Majeure), including but not limited to airport closure for any reason whatsoever, war, government restriction, mass riots, strikes, epidemics, fires, floods, storms, which renders flight operations impossible.
- In the event of a discrepancy between a mileage earned and the amount as credited to the GFF member account, Garuda Indonesia retains the right to determine the correct mileage.
- Mileage earned by a GFF member cannot be added or transferred to the account of another GFF member.
- Mileage earned through falsification, submission of incorrect data, or in violation of GFF Terms and Conditions, will be suspended, and in such cases Garuda Indonesia has the authority to terminate the GFF membership and take any necessary legal action.

7. Earning Miles from Non Flight Activities
- Mileage earned from the use of products and services of Garuda Indonesia partners in the GFF program is subject to the Terms and Conditions as issued by each Garuda Indonesia partners based on the respective agreements.
- Mileage earned from a transaction with Garuda Indonesia partners in the GFF program will be credited to GFF member account within 4 (four) weeks minimum. If mileage from a certain transaction is missing, GFF member may contact or submit a claim to the respective Garuda Indonesia partner in the GFF program.

8. Missing Mileage Claim
- Claim for missing mileage from a flight activity can be submitted within 6 (six) months at the latest from the day of flight departure, accompanied with the necessary claim documents such as the completed Missing Mileage Form, original Boarding Pass and Passenger Ticket Coupon or Itinerary Receipt (for e-Ticket).
- Mileage earned on a missing mileage claim is based on class of travel and fare as indicated on the ticket used by GFF member.
- A missing mileage claim will be processed within 4 (four) weeks minimum from the time the completed claim documents are received by GFF Center until the appropriate mileage adjustment is made to the account of GFF member.

9. Spending Miles
- An Award Ticket is valid for a period of 6 (six) months from the date of issue and cannot be extended.
- The validity period of an Upgrade Award depends on the terms of the original paying ticket purchased.
- Award Tickets or Upgrade Awards may only be issued by the respective Garuda Indonesia Sales Office where the Award Order Form is submitted. Awards may be redeemed by GFF member in person, or by another person with a power of attorney from GFF member. Submission of application for Award Ticket or Upgrade Award in Indonesia delegated to another person must be accompanied with a power of attorney (original) with duty stamp affixed. The mechanism for award redemption follows the prevailing GFF regulations.
- An Award Ticket or Upgrade Award may only be issued for a confirmed schedule booking, and not applicable for bookings on a waiting list or an open date ticket. Go show passengers are not permitted to apply for Award Tickets or UpgradeAwards.
- The mileage needed for an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award is based on Spending Miles Table. All the mileage values at Spending Miles Table refer to a direct flight route to the intended destination and are not applicable for stop over passengers.
- In the event that a certain flight route as desired by the GFF member is not available, the mileage needed to be redeemed for an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award will be calculated by adding up each flight sector flown.
- Mileage redemption for routes that are not on Spending Miles Table will be calculated by adding up each flight sector flown.
- Garuda Indonesia does not provide a delivery service for Award Tickets and Upgrade Awards.
- Award miles that have been redeemed for Award Tickets or Upgrade Awards may be re-deposited to GFF member account if the Award Ticket or the original economy class paid ticket is still valid and completely unused. Once travel has commenced on at least one sector of the travel itinerary, the mileage on the remaining un-flown sector(s) cannot be re-deposited.
- Any cancellation and change of schedule of an Award Ticket and Upgrade Award will incur a mileage deduction of 25% (twenty five percent) of the total mileage with a valid ticket.
- In addition to the stipulation in Art. 9.10 above, any cancellation of an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award flight schedule will also incur a fee according to the prevailing Administration Refund Fee rules and payable by GFF member.
- When award mileage are redeemed for Award Tickets or Upgrade Awards, GFF members are responsible for the payment of local airport taxes, additional government tax, insurance premium, fuel surcharge, or any other additional charges as applicable.
- To redeem award mileage into an Upgrade Award, GFF member must first purchase an Economy class ticket. The amount of award mileage needed for the intended flight route is based on the fare of the original Economy class ticket with reference to the Award Table.
- The amount of award mileage needed for an Upgrade Award from booking class V and H is the same as the mileage needed for an Economy class Award Ticket.
- Award Ticket facility is not applicable for charter flights, Hajj flights except for ONH Plus flights, Citilink flights, and code share flights where Garuda Indonesia is not the Operating Party.
- Upgrade Award facility is not applicable for booking class O,T, J, Z tickets, sponsorship tickets, employee tickets, discount ticket from airline or travel agents, free tickets, reward tickets, discount flights, charter flights, Hajj flights except for ONH Plus flights, Citilink flights, and code share flights where Garuda Indonesia is not the Operating Party.
- GFF members may exchange the accumulated award mileage into an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award in the name of another person as the intended user of the Award Ticket or Upgrade Award.
- In the event that an Award Ticket or Upgrade Award is cancelled due to operational considerations at the airport (late flight, delayed flight, cancelled flight, or seat unavailability), the following provisions apply:
- Award mileage will be re-deposited to GFF member account if the travel itinerary is aborted / cancelled.
- Award mileage will not be re-deposited if the passenger is transferred to another flight with all costs borne by Garuda Indonesia.
- For GFF members using Upgrade Awards, award mileage will be re-deposited and the cancellation compensation will follow the terms for the original Economy class ticket paid for.
- Other provisions will refer to the provisions for passenger with paid tickets.
- The award miles needed for Award Tickets and Upgrade Awards for children and infants is the same as for adult passenger.
- Award Ticket and / or Upgrade Award may not be used by a person whose name does not appear on the respective Award Ticket and / or Upgrade Award.

10. Executive Card Plus (EC Plus)
- EC Plus membership is open to Indonesian citizens and foreign nationalities aged 17 years or up, domiciled in Indonesia, and have paid the registration fee for EC Plus membership.
- Payment of membership registration fee can be made in cash or by bank transfer to Garuda Indonesia bank account, a/c 103.0087290801, at Bank Mandiri Jakarta Sabang branch.
- EC Plus applicants must complete the EC Plus application form accompanied by a copy of ID (KTP, Passport, or other ID) and the bank transfer slip of the registration fee, or made a cash payment at Garuda Indonesia Sales Office or the GFF Center.
- EC Plus membership is valid for a 12 (twelve)-month period commencing on the month of application approval or membership renewal.
- Insurance coverage provided to EC Plus members is subject to the Terms and Conditions set out in the insurance policy, and covers:
i. Travel Inconvenience Insurance: - Missed connection
- Delayed flight and denied boarding
- Luggage loss
- Luggage delay
iii. Overseas medical insurance - Loss of life Accident Indemnity
- Specific Loss Accident Indemnity
- Insurance claims may be submitted to the respective insurance provider in accordance with the requirements set forth in the insurance policy, and accompanied by a recommendation letter from Garuda Indonesia.
- In the event the EC Plus membership period has expired and is not extended, the EC Plus membership along with any accumulated mileage will be converted to a regular GFF membership, with a membership tier according to activity in the last EC Plus membership year. The provisions for an EC Plus membership that has been converted into a regular GFF membership will follow those of the GFF.
- In the case of EC Plus membership resignation before the expiration of membership period, any fees paid are not refundable. In such a case, any unused award mileage is no longer valid and redeemable.
- EC Plus membership will be terminated or transferred to GFF regular membership when correspondence address of the member change to address outside Indonesia, with a membership tier according to activity in the last EC Plus membership year.

11. GFF Junior
- GFF Junior membership is open to citizens of Indonesia and foreign nationalities aged 2 11 years, domiciled in Indonesia or overseas where the GFF program is applicable.
- Applicants for GFF Junior membership shall complete a GFF application form signed by the respective parent or legal guardian, accompanied by a copy of ID of the parent or legal guardian, who will be responsible for the GFF Junior membership activities.
- The name of the parent or legal guardian may only be changed by submitting a written notification to GFF Center, and the substitute name must be registered in the GFF database.
- GFF Junior membership commences from the time the registration data and the first flight with a temporary number is recorded in the GFF database, up until the member reaches the age of 12.
- The GFF Junior program does not entails evaluation for membership tier.
- GFF Junior membership will be converted into GFF regular membership when member reaches the age of 12.
- Membership tier in the conversion into regular GFF membership as in Art. 11.6 will depend on the respective member activity during the last 1 (one) year of GFF Junior membership. Thereafter, the provisions for regular GFF membership prevail.
- Registration and mileage redemption transaction for member below the age of 12 requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Garuda Indonesia is under no obligation to prove the validity of parental or guardianship status of the person that approves and verifies the respective signature of the parent or legal guardian.
- Mileage accrual from flight activities of GFF Junior member is calculated at 75% (seventy five percent) of the mileage accrual of a GFF Blue member. Mileage accrual from non-flight activities will follow the terms as in the regular GFF program.
- The calculation for award miles redemption into Award Ticket or Upgrade Award for GG Junior membership is the same as for the GFF regular membership.

12. Garuda Indonesia Citibank Card (GIC Card)
- The GIC Card combines the GFF membership with a Citibank credit card membership. Member privileges and facilities with regards to the GFF program refer to the prevailing GFF provisions. Credit card related provisions such as credit limit, interest, billing and payment, cancellation, insurance, benefits and other provisions refer to information or rules established by Citibank.
- Insurance coverage provided to GIC Card members paying for Garuda Indonesia tickets using Garuda Indonesia Citibank Card include:
i. Free travel insurance, comprising: - Delayed flight
- Baggage delay
- Baggage loss
- Life and physical disability
ii. Free purchase protection iii. Overseas medical insurance

13. GFF Member Obligation and Responsibility
- GFF members are responsible to update their personal data in case of changes in the data by contacting Garuda Indonesia Call Center, Garuda Indonesia Sales Office, or the GFF Center, or directly online through the GFF website. Garuda Indonesia is not responsible for the loss or delay of any mailed GFF materials due to an incorrect address or unreported change of address, and does not guarantee the receipt of GFF information through e-mail in case of incorrect e-mail data provided by GFF member.
- In the case of a change of name of GFF member, a written notification should be submitted to the GFF Center, accompanied with the necessary legal documents.
- GFF members are responsible to update themselves regarding the latest GFF Terms and Conditions as informed through GFF communication media. Active participation in the GFF program requires that members are informed, knowledgeable and agree to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions of GFF program.
- GFF members are required to change their default Password at the first log-in to the GFF website. The confidentiality of membership information accessed through the GFF website is the responsibility of GFF members.
- In their flight activities, GFF members are required to :
a. provide the GFF membership number and name as stated on the GFF Card when making flight reservation b. use the same name on flight reservation as the name on the GFF Card and the GFF database c. present a valid GFF membership card at check-in Garuda Indonesia cannot guarantee the proper crediting of mileage to GFF member account if GFF member fails to comply with the above requirements. - In all non-flight activities with Garuda Indonesia partners in the GFF program, GFF members are required to present a valid GFF membership card when making their transaction to ensure award miles from the use of products and services provided by Garuda Indonesia partners is recorded in GFF database.

14. GFF Program Changes and Termination
- Garuda Indonesia reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions and the benefit of GFF membership at anytime with or without prior notice, including but not limited to:
i. Rules regarding mileage accrual and redemption ii. Award-related facilities and their availability iii. Programs of Garuda Indonesia partners in the GFF program - Garuda Indonesia has the authority to change or to terminate its cooperation with Garuda Indonesia partners in the GFF program. In the case of partner program termination, the Award Miles accrued up until that time remains valid.
- Any changes to the GFF program which is informed to the member can be found through Garuda Indonesia communications media such as GFF Bulletin, GFF website, or other media.
- The prevailing GFF Terms and Conditions are based on those that can be found on the latest edition of GFF Membership Guide, the GFF website, or other updates as issued by Garuda Indonesia.
- The Terms and Conditions on this GFF Membership Guide automatically replaced any previous Terms and Conditions of GFF, and are applicable to all GFF members.
- Garuda Indonesia reserves the right to terminate the GFF program at anytime with or without notification.
- Garuda Indonesia cannot be held liable for any loss arising from the termination or changes in the GFF program.

15. Others
- Replacement of GFF membership card due to damage, loss, negligence of cardholder or card data change requested by member will be charged as follows:
a. Rp. 50.000 for card replacement in Indonesia b. US$ 10 for card replacement outside Indonesia - In the case of loss of Award Ticket or Upgrade Award (manual tickets), Garuda Indonesia Sales Office may issue a new Award Ticket or Upgrade Award, upon presentation of police document and all other necessary requirements. The replacement will be charged in accordance to the prevailing rates for Replacement Fee.
